filled with the peace and joy that Christ’s first coming in the flesh brought to all who like Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds and the Weise man, who received him with faith and love.
May the light had shown from the stable of Bethlehem that Christmas night enlighten all hearts that all may know the God who out of love for man pitched his dwelling among us.
So that in this year we may discover or rediscover the joy that Jesus is,
and be reborn in him so that, with him, we may live eternally in communion with the Most Holy Trinity our hearts brimming with joy
as we carry HIM and HIS light into a world that has grown dark.
May you always believe that Jesus is with you at all times.
May you find time to reflect upon the blessings of God.
God gave His greatest gift to us on that first Christmas Day and may the wonder of it always guide and light your way…
Christmas Homilies.....God has appeared – as a child. It is in this guise that he pits himself against all violence and brings a message that is peace. At this hour, when the world is continually threatened by violence in so many places and in so many different ways, when over and over again there are oppressors’ rods and bloodstained cloaks, we cry out to the Lord: O mighty God, you have appeared as a child and you have revealed yourself to us as....
ADVENT IS THE SEASON OF THE SEED...OF DIVINR LOVE GROWING IN SILENCE...
Advent is the season of the seed: Christ loved this symbol of the seed ... Advent, the seed of the world's life, was hidden in Our Lady: Advent is the season of the secret, the secret of the growth of Christ, of Divine Love growing in silence. It is the season of humility, silence, and growth. For nine months Christ grew in His Mother's body. By His own will she formed Him from herself, from the simplicity of her daily life. She had nothing to give Him but herself. He asked for nothing else. She gave Him herself. Working, eating, sleeping, she was forming His body from hers. His flesh and blood. From her humanity she gave Him His humanity. Walking in the streets of Nazareth to do her shopping, to visit her friends, she set His feet on the path of Jerusalem. Washing, weaving, kneading, sweeping, her hands prepared His hands for the nails. Every beat of her heart gave Him His heart to love with, His heart to be broken by love. more>>>
This brings you Mother’s love, prayer and blessing, together with my prayerful wishes for a fervent Advent spent in the company of Our Lady, learning from her how to be pure and humble of heart. Keep your eyes pure - so that Jesus may look through them. Keep your tongue pure - so that Jesus may speak with your tongue. Keep your hands pure so that Jesus may work with your hands. Keep your mind pure so that Jesus may think His thoughts in your mind. Keep your heart pure so that He may love with your heart. Ask Jesus to live His own life in you. Mother Teresa
ADVENT Homily : Advent, this powerful liturgical season that we are beginning, invites us to pause in silence to understand a presence. It is an invitation to understand that the individual events of the day are hints that God is giving us, signs of the attention he has for each one of us. How often does God give us a glimpse of his love! To keep, as it were, an "interior journal" of this love would be a beautiful and salutary task for our life ! read more:
