Hyj, që e thirre të Lumturën Terezë, virgjër
t’i përgjigjej dashurisë së Birit tënd të etur në Kryq,
me një dashuri të veçantë për më të varfrit ndër të varfër,
bëj, të lutemi, që me ndërmjetësinë e saj,
t’i shërbejmë Krishtit në vëllezërit e Tij të vuajtur.
Nëpër Zotin tonë Jezu Krishtin, Birin tënd
që jeton e mbretëron së bashku me Shpirtin e Shenjtë,

God, who called blessed Teresa, virgin
to respond to the love of your Son thirsting on the cross
with outstanding charity to the poorest of the poor,
grant us, we beseech you, by her intercession,
to minister to Christ in his suffering brothers.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Boże, Ty powołałeś błogosławioną Teresę, dziewicę,
aby na miłość Twego Syna, cierpiącego pragnienie na krzyżu, odpowiedziała niezrównaną miłością do najbiedniejszych.
Za jej wstawiennictwem, prosimy Cię
pozwól nam służyć Chrystusowi w cierpiących braciach.
Przez naszego Pana Jezusa Chrystusa…

Oh Dios, que llamaste a la Beata Teresa, virgen,
para que correspondiera al amor de tu Hijo, sediento en la cruz
con una eximia caridad hacia los más pobres,
te pedimos que nos concedas, por su intercesión,

Day prosime, aby sme na jej prīhover slūžili Kristovi v jeho trpiacich bratoch a sestrāch.

Skrze nāšho Pāna Ježiša Krista, Tvojno Syna, ktorŷ s Tebou v jednote z Duchom Svätŷm žije a kraluje po všetky veky vekov.

Bože, Ty jsi povolal blahosavenou pannu Terezii aby na lāsku Tvēho Syna žīsnīcīho na křīži odpověděla mimořādnov lāskov k nejchudšīm z chudych.
Dey nām, prosīme na jejī přīmluvu, abychom sloužili Kristu v trpīcīch bratřīch a sestrāch.
Skrze Tvēho Syna, Ježīše Krista, našeho Pāna, neboť On s Tebou v jednotĕ Ducha Svatĕho žije a kraluje po všechny vĕky vĕkŭ.

Dumnezeule, tu ai chemat-o pe fericita Tereza fecioara
ca să răspundă la iubirea lui Isus însetat pe cruce
cu iubire profundă faţă de cei mai săraci ai săracilor,
dă, te rugăm, ca prin mijlocirea ei
să slujim lui Cristos în fraţi noştri suferinzi.

Seigneur, toi qui as appelé la bienheureuse Teresa, vierge,
à répondre à l’amour de ton Fils assoiffé sur la Croix
par une extraordinaire charité envers les plus pauvres d’entre les pauvres.
Donne-nous, par son intercession, la grâce
de servir le Christ dans nos frères souffrants.

O Gott, du hast die selige Jungfrau Teresa berufen,
auf die Liebe deines am Kreuze dürstenden Sohnes,
mit besonders liebevoller Zuwendung zu den Ärmsten zu antworten; wir bitten dich, verleihe uns auf ihre Fürsprache,
dass wir in den leidenden Brüdern Christus dienen.

Ó Deus, que chamastes à Bem-aventurada Teresa, virgem, para responder ao amor do Vosso Filho sedento na Cruz com notável caridade para com os mais pobres dos pobres, concedei-nos, Vos pedimos pela sua intercessão, servir a Cristo em nossos irmãos sofredores. Por nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, Vosso filho, que é Deus convosco, na unidade do Espírito Santo.

The Church distinguishes between the cult of a Blessed and that of a Saint. The act of beatification provides the faithful the opportunity to offer public veneration to a Blessed within set limits. The Missionaries of Charity hope that devotion expressed in faithful observance of these norms will also serve to increase the prayer of the faithful imploring the canonization of Blessed Teresa.

For DIOCESES which have requested and received the approval of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of Sacraments (CDWDS) to inscribe Blessed Teresa of Calcutta in their local Diocesan Liturgical Calendar and for MISSIONARIES OF CHARITY in those Dioceses

Permission for public cult includes the following:

• The liturgical celebration of Blessed Teresa on 5 September is observed by the Missionaries of Charity as a “feast”; for all others the celebration is observed as an “optional memorial”.

• The Opening Prayer of the Mass (approved by the CDWDS and available through the local bishop) is proper to Blessed Teresa. All other prayers and the readings are taken from the Common of Virgins or Holy Women. (For the Liturgical Texts: View the section of : Prayer/Liturgical Prayer-Feast)

• A votive Mass (using the Opening Prayer of the feast) may be offered on days on which votive Masses are allowed. The readings for the Liturgy of the Word may be taken from the day or from the Common of Virgins or Holy Women (see Introduction to the Lectionary for precise guidelines).

• The Liturgy of the Hours may be celebrated in Blessed Teresa’s honor on 5 September. Until canonization, everything is taken from the Common of Virgins or Holy Women, except the concluding prayer of Morning and Evening Prayer (which is the same as the Opening Prayer for the Mass) and the second reading in the Office of Readings.

• The relics of Blessed Teresa may be exposed in a suitable place in churches or chapels.

1. The relic may be placed in a secure reliquary on a stand or in the wall or mounted on the wall or in a shrine. It may be placed in the sanctuary, at a side altar or in another part of the church or chapel.
2. If it is placed in the sanctuary, the relic may not be on top of the altar (mensa) or next to the tabernacle. (If the relic is a sizable body part, it may with permission be placed under the altar. In the case of Blessed Teresa, however, no large body parts are available.) The relic cannot seem to rival the tabernacle or the main altar.

      Its placement or decoration should not make it seem that the relic is equal in    importance to the Blessed Sacrament or the altar on which the Mass is offered.

1. Special opportunities for veneration of the relic or programs of prayer in which the relic will be venerated may be publicized. This includes programs sponsored by the Missionaries of Charity.
2. An image (statue, painting or drawing) of Blessed Teresa may be placed in a church or chapel.
3. Devotion to Blessed Teresa may be fostered.
4. Hymns may be sung in her honor.

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, longing to love Jesus as He had never been loved before, you gave yourself entirely to Him, refusing Him nothing. In union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, you accepted His call to satiate His infinite thirst for love and souls and become a carrier of His love to the poorest of the poor. With loving trust and total surrender you fulfilled His will, witnessing to the joy of belonging totally to Him. You became so intimately united to Jesus your crucified Spouse that He deigned to share with you the agony of His Heart as He hung upon the Cross.

Blessed Teresa, you promised to continuously bring the light of love to those on earth; pray for us that we also may long to satiate the burning thirst of Jesus by loving Him ardently, sharing in His sufferings joyfully, and serving Him wholeheartedly in our brothers and sisters, especially those most unloved and unwanted. Amen

Jesus, you made Blessed Teresa an inspiring example of firm faith and burning charity, an extraordinary witness to the way of spiritual childhood, and a great and esteemed teacher of the value and dignity of every human life. Grant that she may be venerated and imitated as one of the Church's canonized saints.
Hear the requests of all those who seek her intercession, especially the petition I now implore... (mention here the favour you wish to pray for).

May we follow her example in heeding Your cry of thirst from the Cross and joyfully loving You in the distressing disguise of the poorest of the poor, especially those most unloved and unwanted.

We ask this in Your name and through the intercession of Mary, Your Mother and the Mother of us all.

Beata Tereza de Calcutá, no teu desejo fervoroso de amar Jesus como ele nunca foi amado antes, tu te doaste totalmente a Ele, sem jamais negar-lhe nada. Em união com o coração Imaculado de Maria, tu aceitaste a chamada para saciar a sua infinita sede de amor e de almas e te tornaste portadora do Seu amor aos mais pobres entre os pobres. Com amorosa confiança e total abandono tu cumpriste a Sua vontade, testemonhando a alegria de pertencer  totalmente a Ele. Tu te tornaste tão intimamente unida a Jesus, o teu Esposo crucificado, que Ele, levantado sobre a cruz, se dignou em condividir contigo a agonia do Seu Coração.
Beata Teresa, tu que prometeste de levar continuamente a luz do amor àqueles que estão sobre a terra, roga a Deus afim que também nós  desejemos  saciar  a sede ardente de Jesus  com um amor apaixonado, condividindo com alegria os Seus sofrimentos, e servindo-O com todo o coração nos nossos irmãos e irmãs, especialmente naqueles que, mais do que todos, são « não amados » e « não queridos». Amem.

 Jesús, tu hiciste de BEATA Teresa un ejemplo inspirador de fe firme y de ardiente caridad,
un testigo extraordinario del camino de la infancia espiritual, y una gran y estimada maestra del valor y dignidad de toda vida humana.
Concédenos que ella sea venerada e imitada como uno de los santos canonizados de la Iglesia.
Escucha las súplicas de todos aquellos que buscan su intercesión, especialmente la petición que en este momento imploro... (mencione aquí el favor que pide en esta oración).

Haz que sigamos su ejemplo atendiendo a tu grito de sed desde la cruz y te amemos con alegría en la apariencia dolorosa de los más pobres entre los pobres, especialmente en los menos amados y aceptados.
