It has been brought to our attention that emails allegedly sent by Sister Mary Prema, MC, superior general of the Missionaries of Charity, asking for funds or requesting the recipient to sign a document and provide a scan of their identity documents in order for funds to be transferred to their bank account, have been circulating. Please be informed that Sister Prema does not have or use email and that any emails you may receive with her name are FRAUDULENT. Unauthorized individuals have registered email addresses with her name and are sending messages as though it is a communication from her. If you receive any such emails, please do not respond to them and kindly notify others of the same.
